It appears Prince William swear Kate Middleton needed a break from their busy lives, as they were spotted enjoying a low-key lunch at a pub outside Windsor Castle on Friday, Nov. 11. The gorgeous couple grabbed a meal next door Maggie Caxton, who was celebrating receiving her OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) at the Institute as her company tweeted about an unexpected meeting!

“Congratulations to our Chair, Maggie Saxton, who received her OBE from Princess Anne at Windsor Castle yesterday,” North East Learning Trust wrote alongside a photo of Maggie receiving the honour. “Maggie was thrilled to attend the ceremony and especially to find herself sitting next to the Prince and Princess of Wales in the local pub afterwards!

The somewhat secretive date came shortly after Kate went out alone to meet medical staff at London’s Colham Manor Children’s Centre, where she is patron of the Mothers’ Mental Health Alliance, according to Hello!. During the trip, Kate learned how the hospital caters to the needs of women and families, according to the tender.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate, along with King Charles III and his Queen Consort Camila, more recently commissioned the first official portrait to mark the start of the new monarch’s reign, unveiled by Buckingham Palace on 1 October. The royal family wasted no time in fulfilling their new posthumous duties Queen Elizabeth II.

He had earlier worn civilian gear for the funeral procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall.
