Workforce Younger doctors go to vote on employment issues. Voting on industrial action by junior doctors in England will open on 9 January 2023 and the BMA says that “all options [are] on the table. This action followed a vote by the association’s junior doctors’ committee last month, after the government did not respond to its demands for wages and benefits. BMA representatives said they had “no choice but to take industrial action” because of the failure to recognize their vital contribution during the Covid outbreak and the impact of rising inflation.
